I have the game The Sims as one of the most addicting games for PC of all time. Well I guess it will be redundant to say that there are a lot of The Sims, there are currently The Sims 1, 2 and 3 which all have it's own set of well made and full of contents expansion.

I won't be reviewing about any particular version of The sims but the whole franchise itself.

The Sims is basically a game where you control a virtual person hence they are called "Sims" and guide or watch them live. It is very detailed as and is probably the most realistic Real Life Simulation game ever existed.

All common on The Sims game is that as a normal person has needs, so is your mini-computer Sim has. It can be from basic needs to Food, Shelter, and Hygiene to complicated things such as social well being to enjoyment.

Maxis the company the owned the Sims has did a great job on applying this needs on this game as well as add goals and chalenging aspects as you have in real life as to Career, Education, getting married, having friends and even having sex.

All of this aspects are well placed and well oriented with the contents the game has to offer not to mention the fun it would be to design your own House, buy appliances, pets, throwing parties and so much more as the expansion sets of The Sims almost has it all, they even made it more realistic by adding incidents such as Fire accidents, burglars or thefts, and some more misfortune that could get your Sim killed on the process.

The game performance by experience is really well, from the Sims 1 to the Sims 3, their minimum sytem requirements is pretty low and easy to cope up now with the current hardware market. Though there will be notable Frame rate decrease during times when there are a lot of sims on your place. All The Sims game is 3D and the performance is really good in overall, not to mention that The Sims probably has the best in Game Music, ranging from different genres and more.

However a game won't go without critisms, to take notes of some is the game can go boring as time goes by, especially for the Sims 1, where the game sims to have no goal, unless you are playing to compete with some friends for who has the richest sim and the poorest sim, but this has been solve on The Sims 2 and 3 where the game is very goal oriented.

The Sims is a really great game, a lot of contents, great graphical performance, addicting and very educational on some sort, the fun of designing, i must rate this game 10/10.
